Gain fresh perspective when you're too close to see clearly
😬 Why you can't get past the cringeyness of being perceived even though all you talk about in your journal is how you want your work to be known and experienced
📣 How your highest self would respond to your co-worker who must be trying to win a special Pullitzer for passive aggressive remarks
🔎 If it's selfish to crave new opportunities when other people would give up their spot in a Beyoncé Ticketmaster queue for a work setup like yours.
🤏🏾 If you're ~playing small~ as that "motivational" influencer calls it in the Reels that somehow keep popping up in your feed, or if you're simply living in alignment with your own pace
🐛 Whether it's even possible to have the career you want with a personality, value set, or background like yours
Why this transition, which looks like your ✨What Dreams are Made of✨ Pinterest board come to life, is hitting you so hard
It's like being a fish who doesn't realize it's in water.
It's hard to see what's shaping your thinking when you're immersed in your own perspective. To be human is to have blind spots—no matter how self-aware you are.
What is a Fresh Eyes session?
I work best with people who are naturally reflective—the journalers, the analyzers, the deep thinkers—who sometimes need help seeing beyond their familiar thought patterns. My role isn't to tell you what to think, but to help you see what you might be missing.
My clients often tell me that our sessions help them:
- Notice assumptions they didn't realize they were making, infusing their relationships with renewed curiosity and grace
- See possibilities that were previously invisible to them, opening up a set of right-now options that don't require them to wait for years or win the lottery
- Gain more clarity where they felt stuck by surfacing the fears and desires that never made it to the journaling page
- Start to trust themselves in small ways that make a big impact, like not responding to an email as soon as it pops into their inbox and realizing the world doesn't end
What happens during a session?
Before the session: You complete a short questionnaire so you can narrow in on one specific topic to bring to our session. This let's us make the most of our time together
First 5 minutes: You fill me in on your situation and anything that's shifted since you filled out your questionnaire
Middle 20 minutes: I ask questions that help you expand your perspective
Final 5 minutes: We pull together insights and potential next steps

About me
I’ve managed to make a career out of asking powerful questions and making unexpected connections.
My life’s work is to reconnect people to their inner wisdom. It’s the small role I play in building a world without burnout.
My approach is informed by:
- My academic background at Vanderbilt in Human and Organizational Development and my PhD studies in Change Leadership
- My work experience in and with Fortune 500 organizations, startups, non-profits and small businesses
- My training in coaching, facilitation, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and resilience

But my most important qualification is that I continue to do this work myself.
Questions?
And if you're really looking to tap into my firsthand experience to inform your next steps, advising might be what you need.
"I never thought of it like that!"
"Wow, I didn't realize that's how I was viewing the situation."
"I can't wait to journal on this more because this just opened up an entirely new set of possibilities."
That might include continuing to work together, or you might decide to carry this work forward on your own. Sometimes the perspective shift is all you need to hit the ground running.
If you're curious about what continued work together might look like, you can think of it this way: Fresh Eyes helps you see the water you're swimming in, while ongoing coaching helps you navigate these waters with greater intention and purpose. We move from awareness to transformative action.
Once you can see what was previously invisible to you, we can work together to explore new possibilities, experiment with different approaches, and build the self-trust needed to navigate change.
If you decide to continue our work together within 30 days of your Fresh Eyes Session, your $100 investment will be applied as a credit toward any of my coaching packages.
And if not, you'll still walk away with valuable insights from our conversation.
Ready to see things more fully?
Sometimes the most valuable insights don't come from more information, but from seeing what's already there with fresh eyes
